MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 15’s Abdu Rozik surprised everyone by announcing on Thursday that he’ll marry in July 2024 on his social media account. Shiv Thakare said he was unaware of the wedding when Abdu's friend was questioned by the well-known news portal. An hour ago, Shiv spoke with Abdu and heard nothing about it. Since he only learned about the wedding via social media, he is now unsure of its truth.

“I have no idea about it. I don’t know who the girl is. Got to know it via social media only. Rather, I spoke to Abdu just 30 minutes back and he didn’t mention anything about the wedding. Don’t know if these reports are false,” Shiv had told the popular news portal.

Now, in an interview with the popular news portal, Shiv said that he’s excited for Abdu’s wedding and he will be dancing to his heart’s content. He said, “I initially felt it was a prank and told a media publication also. After seeing the news everywhere, Abdu called and informed me that the news is actually true and that he is getting married. He is my younger brother and I am over the moon that he is getting married. I am going to attend his wedding festivities and dance like crazy. We spoke about the engagement also and I am happy for him.”

In the video clip that Abdu had posted, he was seen seated on a couch, wearing a crisp, black and white tuxedo. “As you know, I am 20 years old. I have a dream of falling in love, getting a girl who respects me and loves me too much. It’s been my dream. Suddenly, I found that girl, who is respecting me, giving me too much love. I don’t know how to say… I am too much excited. I have one surprise for all of you,” he said.

Abdu Rozik hails from Tajikistan and rose to fame in India following his participation in Bigg Boss 15. His performance on the show won over many fans, including Salman Khan, the host. Abdu made close friends with his fellow contestants, Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan, MC Stan, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia during his time on the show. In addition, Abdu made a guest appearance on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 last year, where he was seen cheering on his friend, Shiv Thakare.
